Healthy Homemade Ferrero Rocher (Hazelnut) Banana Balls
These Banana Chocolate Rocher Balls are a healthy, delicious blend of dark chocolate, banana, and hazelnuts—perfect for a quick, guilt-free treat!
Ingredients
- 120 g dark chocolate
- 80 ml banana puree
- A pinch of cinnamon
- A few drops of vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 75 g roasted whole hazelnuts 15-16 for the centers, remaining roughly chopped for rolling
- 50 g additional dark chocolate for drizzling optional
Instructions
Melt the Chocolate:
- Melt the 120 g of dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth.
Blend Ingredients:
- In a blender, combine the melted chocolate, banana puree, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until smooth and creamy.
Chill the Mixture:
- Transfer the mixture to the refrigerator and let it chill for about 2 hours to firm up.
Form the Candies:
- Once chilled, take a small amount of the mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a whole hazelnut in the center, then mold the mixture around the nut to form a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
Roll in Hazelnuts:
- Roll the chocolate-covered balls in the chopped hazelnuts until well coated.
Optional Drizzle:
- If using, melt the additional 50 g of dark chocolate and drizzle it over the hazelnut-covered candies for an extra touch.
Set:
- Place the candies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate until set.
