Ingredients

  • 120 g dark chocolate
  • 80 ml banana puree
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • A few drops of vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 75 g roasted whole hazelnuts 15-16 for the centers, remaining roughly chopped for rolling
  • 50 g additional dark chocolate for drizzling optional

Instructions

Melt the Chocolate:

  • Melt the 120 g of dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth.

Blend Ingredients:

  • In a blender, combine the melted chocolate, banana puree, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until smooth and creamy.

Chill the Mixture:

  • Transfer the mixture to the refrigerator and let it chill for about 2 hours to firm up.

Form the Candies:

  • Once chilled, take a small amount of the mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a whole hazelnut in the center, then mold the mixture around the nut to form a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.

Roll in Hazelnuts:

  • Roll the chocolate-covered balls in the chopped hazelnuts until well coated.

Optional Drizzle:

  • If using, melt the additional 50 g of dark chocolate and drizzle it over the hazelnut-covered candies for an extra touch.

Set:

  • Place the candies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate until set.
